ALL CHURCH LUNCHEON: February 9th & 23rd come enjoy food together after worship.
SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: The weekend of February 8th & 9th we will be collecting money for the Marion House and local hunger. There will be helmets with each team’s name on it and you vote on who you think will win the Super Bowl and make a donation. All proceeds go to the Marion House.
CHURCH PHOTO DIRECTORY COMING SOON!: Due to popular demand, we are creating a password protected ONLINE PHOTO DIRECTORY to help us connect and put names to faces. Photos will be taken free of charge, on a walk-in basis, following all services on these weekends: Febr. 15 & 16; Febr. 22 & 23; March 1 & 2; March 8 & 9.
1ST COMMUNION INSTRUCTION CLASS: Sunday, March 16th from 10:45am – 12:30pm. See Pastor John or Bethany to register.
GOSPEL OF JOHN: Pastor Dan is leading a study on the Gospel of John that begins at 10:45am in the Faith Forum.
KINGDOM KIDS: We will be cancelled this weekend, but will be meeting again next weekend.
BETHEL BOOK CLUB: We meet once a month on the 3rd Thursday at 1:00pm in the Library. In February we will meet on Thursday, February 20th. The Book we are reading is “The Only Woman In the Room” by Marie Benedict.
BUNCO: This is a game with dice and fellowship. We will be meeting on Friday, February 7th at 7:00pm in the Narthex area.
CONNECTIONS GROUP: This group is targeted to singles and couples in their 60’s (plus or minus). It is a fellowship and discussion group of mutual support, laughter, food, and fun.
GIFTS FROM THE HEART: We enjoy sharing the love of Christ with others by preparing and donating gifts. Our gift-giving includes: specially prepared baby gifts for newborns at Bethel, recycling stuffed animals for foster children, three different types of gift bags handed out to the homeless, meals for shut-ins or families in distress, and household goods for displaced veterans.
DINING OUT GROUP: We meet on the 4th Monday of the month.
MEN’S CHALLENGE GROUP: Men, do you want the abundance God came to give you? Do you want joy and peace AND to advance His kingdom? Then come join us. We meet at 11:00am on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays at Bethel.
MEN’S MINISTRY BREAKFAST: We meet once a month at 7:45am in the Christ Center. The next time we are getting together is Saturday, February 15th. Contact Pastor Dan for more information.
MICROBREW CREW: This adult group meets monthly at a local microbrewery.
PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP: This group is for folks interested in photography from novice to experienced.
SENIOR GROUP: We meet once a month for Potluck and other activities. We get together for food, fun, and fellowship. The next time we get together is Friday, February 21st.
STITCHED WITH LOVE: This ministry provides an opportunity for you to make and donate crocheted or knitted items for infants and children. We also make a variety of handmade items throughout the year for donation to foster children through Cases of Love, infants through Life Network, winter scarves for the homeless, etc.
STEPHEN MINISTRY: We all go through times in our life when we could benefit from a little extra care and attention. That’s what Stephen Ministers are for. Stephen Ministers are members of Bethel who have been trained to provide confidential, one-to-one, Christian care to people who are going through a difficult time. They will listen, care, encourage, pray with and for you and provide weekly support for you if your need persists. VARIETY DANCE: Variety Dance meets each Saturday afternoon in the Christ Center. The 2:30pm class is led by Gloria Pascua and the 4:00pm class is led by Sharon Oldfield.
