LENT AND EASTER WORSHIP SCHEDULE: Maundy Thursday and Good Friday April 17 & 18 Holy Week Drama 6:30pm; Sunday, April 20th Easter Worship at 8:00am & 9:30am; Easter Breakfast from 8:30am – 11:30am; Easter Egg Hunt at 9:15am.

LENTEN OFFERINGS: Bethel offerings this Lenten season will go to both Feed My Starving Children and Care for Kuffu/Uganda Ministry.

EGG PACKING EVENT: If you can spare a little time on Sunday, April 13th after worship (around 10:30am) we could use some volunteers to pack the Easter eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt on April 20th. We will be meeting in the first classroom off the Christ Center.

NEW MEMBER CLASS THIS SUNDAY: The New Member class will be on Sunday, April 13th after the 9:30am service. It will be held in Pastor John’s office. The New Member Spaghetti Dinner will be on Saturday, April 26th at 6:30pm in the Christ Center. On Saturday, April 26th and Sunday, April 27th during the service you can be formally received into membership.

SPRING CLEANING: We need volunteers to help make Bethel and the grounds beautiful. Being your rakes, gloves, dusting cloths, etc. on Saturday, May 3rd at 8:00am. Watch for more information in the coming weeks.

LIFE LINE SCREENING: Bethel will be hosting a Life Line Screening event on Monday, May 19th. Life Line Screening is the premier provider of stroke and cardiovascular disease risk screenings since 1993. As the host of the event, Life Line Screening is extending a special offer to all of our Bethel members for a screening package that enables you to get peace of mind or early detection.

BIBLE STUDY & SUNDAY SCHOOL

GOSPEL OF JOHN: Pastor Dan is leading a study on the Gospel of John that begins at 10:45am in the Faith Forum. We will be finishing the class this Sunday, April 13th.

KINGDOM KIDS: Sunday School for children age 4 through 5th grade will meet downstairs. Children are dismissed from the worship service on Sunday around 9:45am with Bethany.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: This summer June 9th-13th children can come discover how they can trust Jesus in a wild world.

YOUTH VOLUNTEERS REQUESTED: We need Youth to come help with the Easter Breakfast on Sunday, April 20th at 8:00am.

GROUPS & BIBLE STUDIES

BETHEL BOOK CLUB: We meet once a month on the 3rd Thursday at 1:00pm in the Library. In April we will meet on Thursday, April 17th. The Book we are reading is “The Ride of Her Life: The True Story of a Woman, Her Horse, and Their Last-Chance Journey Across America” by Elizabeth Letts.

CARDS AND GAMES: We are looking for people who would be interested in playing Pinocle on Thursday mornings at 9:00am in the Faith Forum at Bethel. We can teach you if you do not know how to play.

CONNECTIONS GROUP: The next time we meet is Friday, April 25th at 6:30pm.

DINING OUT GROUP: We will meet on Monday, April 28th at the Black Bear Diner at 6:00pm. The address is 975 N Academy Blvd, 80909.

MEN’S MINISTRY BREAKFAST: We meet once a month at 7:45am in the Christ Center. The next time we are getting together is Saturday, April 19th.

MICROBREW CREW: We will meet on Monday, April 14th at 6:00pm at Leon Gessi New York Pizza. The address is 1806 Palmer Park Blvd, 80909.
