Family Promise’s mission is to end family homelessness one family at a time. One aspect of their program is the Interfaith Hospitality Network where four families are housed & fed in local churches. Congrats to Bethel for participating in IHN for over 16 years!!
This year we will host our IHN guests from June 18th to July 2nd. Please come provide HOPE to these families by volunteering as an overnight host, helping transform our Sunday School rooms to bedrooms and sharing a meal & evening activity with our guests. You can volunteer with a friend, family or as part of a small group! If needed, we are willing to pair you with “seasoned” volunteers! We also need food items and prepared dinners, please see clipboards in the narthex for these items.
Hope Homes is Family Promise’s newest initiative and with God’s help we will have a home to help renovate for a family during the daytime of our IHN weeks. Please be on the lookout for more information about this project! If you need to plan for a day off work, please look at Jun 18-24.
A description of the needs is below & in CCB. Any questions please see David or me.
